Deciding to cancel or withdraw from your academic program is never an easy step, and the US Higher Education Commission on Accreditation is committed to supporting you throughout this process. Before finalizing your decision, we strongly encourage you to seek guidance from our team, as many concerns with your education provider can be addressed, resolved, or adjusted to help you continue your studies without interruption.
Early consultation is essential. With timely support from (USHECA), students may find alternative solutions, academic adjustments, or financial advice that could prevent the need for withdrawal. However, if you ultimately choose to discontinue your program, it is important to understand that according to U.S. governmental registration policies, you must apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Cancellation through (USHECA) before your withdrawal can be formally processed.
Before initiating the cancellation, please review the withdrawal and cancellation charges outlined in your registration form under Academic Regulations. These charges vary based on:
Failure to follow the proper cancellation procedures may be considered a violation of governmental policy. In such cases, (USHECA) reserves the right to report noncompliant individuals to the relevant authorities. This is particularly important because scholarship recipients are provided financial support by the U.S. government, and improper withdrawal may lead to the misuse of these funds.
To formally begin the withdrawal process, students must submit an official Withdrawal Form. The overall cancellation cost will depend on the program, scholarship approval status, field of study, and other case-specific conditions. All students, whether scholarship recipients or regular candidates, are required to cooperate fully with (USHECA) to obtain accurate information and complete the withdrawal correctly.
