No Demand and No Inquiry Certificate

No Demand and No Inquiry Certificate

In accordance with the foreign education policies of the United States and its ongoing commitment to diplomatic authorities in Washington, D.C., the U.S. government prioritizes collaboration with nations worldwide, particularly on matters of transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption in education. Since educational systems, regulations, and academic structures differ across countries, academic records may vary in terms of programs, courses, methodologies, and national requirements. For international students, obtaining formal clearance from both the U.S. government and their home country is essential for validation and recognition of their academic credentials.

Depending on the specifics of a student’s academic file, the U.S. government may require a No Demand & No Inquiry Certificate to verify official clearance within its database. This certificate may also be necessary if an inquiry arises from either government. Students must secure this certificate through the US Higher Education Commission on Accreditation to resolve the matter and confirm full clearance of their academic record.

The certificate serves as a definitive safeguard against any future disputes or investigations regarding the student’s academic file. Once issued, no government entity may initiate further inquiries related to that record. Certificates are granted only after a comprehensive verification process, during which all documents are reviewed by relevant U.S. governmental departments, including financial authorities and educational oversight bodies. After this review, the (USHECA) Audit Committee, under the California Central Department, evaluates the final findings and forwards the results to the U.S. State Department for official issuance of the certificate.
